Terms of Service
Effective August 27, 2026
These terms govern your use of OriginKeep, a personal context vault that stores your material and serves it to the AI assistants you connect. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
Your account
Keep your sign-in credentials and your connector links safe. A connector link grants read access to the parts of your vault you scope to it, so treat each link like a key. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the assistants you choose to connect.
Your content
Everything you put in your vault remains yours. You grant us only the license needed to operate the service: to store your content, back it up, and serve it to you and to the assistants you connect. We claim no other rights to it, and you can export all of it at any time.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to access another person's vault, probe or disrupt the service, or resell access to it. Do not store content you have no right to hold.
Service quality
The service is young and provided as is, without warranties. We run automated backups and point-in-time recovery, and we work to keep the service available, but you should keep your own exports of anything critical. We may change features over time; if a change removes something you rely on, the export is always available first.
Fees
The service is currently free. If paid plans arrive, pricing will be announced in advance and nothing you already store will be held hostage behind a paywall: export always works.
Ending things
You can stop using the service at any time: export your vault, revoke your connections, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, and where practical we will warn first.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
If these terms change materially, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
